Homemade Tlayuda

In Oaxaca, the Tlayuda is as ubiquitous as the Mole sauces. Made with a large toasted tortilla, it’s loaded with intense and savory regional flavors. Top your Tlayuda with the protein of your choice beef, pork, chorizo or chicken.

For the more adventurous, our Oaxacan menu would not be complete without Chapulines (sautéed grasshoppers), which are sautéed with garlic, lime and salt served as a delicious appetizer.
